I Am Monster

Am Monster is a fun game that manages to take the monotonous 'clicker' genre and put a total spin on it to offer players a fun and cinematic experience. In I Am Monster, you'll control an army of giant monsters who want to destroy everything in their path. Your role is limited to being a mere onlooker, since these monsters will automatically wander around the setting, defeating the enemy units and destroying every building that gets in their way. However, even though you don't get to participate in the action directly, you do have to control the complex management system. With each enemy unit you defeat, you'll get energy that you can invest in buying new skills or increasing the power of the ones you already have. When you complete exceptional achievements and when you destroy bosses, you'll get power crystals. You can then use these crystals to invest in recruiting new monsters to join your destructive cause. Although the 'clicker' gameplay remains intact, the unique premise and excellent execution of I Am Monster make it a real treat on both a visual and playability level. Plus, the inevitable references to movie classics like King Kong or Godzilla make each game much more enjoyable.
