The King of Fighters: Destiny

The King of Fighters: Destiny is a traditional-style beat'em up where you start out playing as Terry Bogard, one of the most popular characters from the franchise The King of Fighters. That said, it won't take you long to unlock and use Joe Higashi, Mai Shiranui, and many more familiar faces. The controls in The King of Fighters: Destiny are simple: on the left side of the screen, you have the virtual movement stick, and on the right side, you have the action buttons. As you unlock new special skills, you can add them to these buttons. Plus, at times you can get weapons and use them during the battles. The game's story mode is divided into a series of short levels where you'll normally have to face multiple waves of lesser enemies and one boss. Among the bosses, you'll find plenty of classic characters from the saga. For most of these, once you've beaten them, you can also recruit them. The King of Fighters: Destiny is an excellent action game that offers a practically identical gameplay to the classic arcade beat'em ups, along with great pixelated graphics. The game also has dozens of levels, characters, and other content to unlock.
