verything revolves around making roads in Widelands, a real time strategy game based on Settlers. Build efficient roads that optimize the flow of resources through your empire. Food, wood, iron, and gold are some of the materials that will be in transit. Widelands has two game modes: single player and multiplayer (using a local Internet connection). If you don't know how to play, don't worry: Widelands contains several introductory missions to help you learn. Widelands is constantly being developed and currently has two tribes, four different worlds, and basic fighting controls (attack, training, and defend).
